 The Moral Benefits of Meditating


           In our last day session we learnt about the perfect timings of meditation ans healing our illness or depression through meditation. I also discussed about the health benefits of meditating. Here are some benefits related to morality.

Powers of meditating

1. Power to judge:  

              This is the power that help us to make proper decisions. It helps in making decisions in aspects of quality and actions in yourself and others. Meditation will built up your inner confidence and accordingly develop the power to choose between wrong and right deeds.


2. Power to face:

                 Many times we try to run from our mistakes and problems. This results into depression and anxiety in us. So meditating will help us to develop the ability to confront and resolve obstacles and challenges.


3. Power to co-operate:

                 In this century, the most difficult work is to co-ordinate with other persons without any internal pressure. Team work is done with a pressure of senior managers. But what about working together at home without any pressure. Meditation helps in understanding others that results into giving attention, time and service to others to work along with them.


4. Power to withdraw: 

              Sometimes, in our worst time, we feel that we should get invisible. Practically this is impossible. But meditation can help in doing this spiritual manner. It helps is developing the ability to step back and disengage the world around you. This will help you to face your difficult times.


5. Power to  pack-up: 

                          This is the ability to bring the complications of life to an end. It helps in stopping wasteful thinking. Sometimes we may fight with our close ones or office-mate, so this power will help to convert an anxious environment into peaceful world around you. Meditation can help you developing this power.


6. Power to tolerate:

                          Power to face and tolerate the wrong things happening with us is not so easy. But if tolerated things might change around us. Meditation helps to develop the ability to respond events positively without getting effected from inside.

         
7. Power to discriminate:

            This is the ability to understand and separate thoughts what is true from false, Meditation helps in developing the intuition power, the power to forecast and understand false happening around us.

This are the moral benefits of doing meditation. We need to develop all of these powers for leading a happy life.
