Day 6 : How to Meditate?

           What is Meditation?

The real meditation is the practice of connecting our soul to the supreme soul(GOD). Those who have stability of life and peacefulness in mind can make a direct connection with Divine Power. People lacking for these qualities and satisfied life need to practice 7 chakra meditation first. In our last day blog we have seen about the 7 chakras.

Before learning meditation let us discuss about increasing concentration of mind. The word chakra and the subject of chakra is never explained by any of the great leaders. Krishna never spoke of chakra in Bhagavad Gita, Buddha never spoke about it and neither did Jesus Christ. What did they speak of? They spoke about the real meditation and Supreme God. They told about consciousness. They didn't spoke about chakras because chakra meditation is responsible for balancing the bodily values and increasing concentration power . Once person starts controlling the powers of body he/she is ready to meditate and connect to DIVINE POWER as a SOUL.

Meditation starts with seeing and feeling our self as a point of light meaning soul. Seeing your self as a soul is having consciousness and this is possible only if person have satisfaction and peacefulness in his mind. Raja Yoga meditation is a form of meditation that’s mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita and subsequently popularized in the 19th century by Swami Vivekananda. Raja Yoga meditation is accessible to people of various backgrounds. It doesn’t have mantras or rituals and can be practiced anywhere at any time. It is practiced with the eyes open, which makes it simple and easy to practice. Practicing it regularly helps you release meaningless thoughts and worries from your mind. Let us learn :

Step 1: Find a Calm Place. You should find a peaceful spot inside your house or go outside into the yard or garden.

Step 2: Sit Comfortably.

Step 3: Be in the Present.

Step 4: Concentrate on a Thought.

Step 5: Maintain the Peace and bring the smile on your face.

Step 6: See Yourself as a point of light in the middle of your head.

Step 7: Feel the flow of energy running from your legs towards spinal chord. Let the flow of energy go up in stomach - heart - neck- eyes and finally reach towards your soul.

Step 8: Repeat this words in your mind " I am a peaceful Soul ".

Step 9: Imagine and feel that your soul is leaving corporeal world.

Step 10: See and feel that Soul is entering the Subtle world. Feel and try to see the subtle soul of Lord (Brhamaji , Vishnuji , Shankarji).

Step 11: Beyond the subtle world lies the incorporeal world , the world of Soul and GOD. Feel that your soul is sitting infront of SUPREME SOUL and the light emeging out of supreme soul is entering our soul.

Step 12: Slowly come back to the corporeal world and feel that your soul has been given powers of happiness, peacefulness and love by GOD. Your soul is becoming a bright light.

Step 13: Imagine your soul coming back to your body and sitting to the right place of soul.

Step 14: Slowly feel and spread the energy of soul through out the body. Feel the vibration of peacefulness and love spreading in whole body. Speak the words. "I am a peaceful Soul, I am feeling my body with the energy of GOD, My Soul is field with its seven moral values (peace, bliss ,love, happiness, knowledge , purity, power).

Step 15: Slowly rub your hand and keep on eyes. Now open your eyes and smile.
